Running it

Helium only. A 200 cubic foot tank runs about $300 from a local welding-gas supplier. A blimp fills with about 170 cubic feet, around $255, then costs roughly $2.50 a day in top-offs.

At one percent loss a day you top off every three to seven days. Most dealers set a service tech on it as a standing Monday job.

Multiple rooftops

Dealer groups rarely need one. They need one per rooftop, and the arithmetic improves as the count goes up because the cost of learning the routine is paid once.

If you are buying for several stores at the same time, call rather than use the form. There is room to talk about it.

What does not change is the product. Same blimp, same price, whether it is one store or ten.

Can we put the manufacturer’s logo on it?

Check your franchise agreement first. Most dealers use their own name instead, and it works better.

How fast can we have it for a sale?

Three to seven days production after artwork approval, then two to five days shipping.

Do we need FAA permission?

Not below 150 feet, and we fly at 120. Within five miles of a controlled field, call the tower.

What about wind?

Over 25 mph forecast, bring it in. That is the whole maintenance routine.

Will it survive a year outdoors?

Polyurethane, not PVC. Customers report fourteen years.
